Auckland Group

Auckland’s diverse landscapes provide countless opportunities to get immersed in nature. In the west, lush native rainforest plunges down the hills to meet the sea on dramatic black sand beaches, while the east’s sheltered golden sand beaches are fringed with red-flowering pohutukawa trees. To the north the rolling hills of wine country meet stunning coastlines and in the south you'll find picturesque country gardens, unspoilt forest and tranquil bays to explore. New Zealand's Auckland region is dotted with 48 volcanic cones, which provide spectacular panoramic views of the city and harbour. Many are surrounded by lush parkland, making them perfect picnic spots. Rangitoto Island, just a 25-minute ferry ride from downtown Auckland, is the region's most iconic volcano and a favourite day trip destination for visitors, hikers and bird watchers.

Introducing Auckland Group

Established in 1974, Auckland Group is one of the largest groups in the country, formed by joining the north, south and central Auckland groups back in 2011. The Auckland Group of AAPNZ welcomes all Personal Assistants, Executive Assistants, Office Managers, Administrators, Receptionists, Secretaries, Accounts and Payroll Officers, to come along and be involved in a wide range of opportunities with us. In our busy administrative roles, we work hard to provide a high standard of service and support for our organisations, but we also recognise that we need support too.

Our members come together monthly and hear from guest speakers who cover a wide variety of topics. During these meetings there is always the opportunity to share with each other our experiences, knowledge and skills, while socialising with like-minded professionals (and make new friends in the process!).

Our passion is to help you develop your career and provide you with the tools you need.  Our members receive a monthly newsletter, and are kept up-to-date through the group's Facebook page. If you are interested in joining or would like to find out more, please contact us.
