Hamilton Group of  AAPNZ has 43 members (and on the increase) ranging from Personal Assistants, Executive Assistants, Office Managers, Administrators, Receptionists, Secretaries, Accounts and Payroll Officers and representing a wide range of organisations.

Our meetings:  We meet in Hamilton, at 5.30pm for 6pm on the fourth Monday of each month.  Members have time to network with other administrative professionals, catch up with friends and to meet new members before the guest speaker's presentation at 6pm.  The meeting finishes at 7pm.

Guest speakers at our meetings cover a variety of topics, providing opportunities for members to extend their knowledge and gain new skills.  Past speakers have covered events management, health and well being, certification, latest technology, significant changes to the Power of Attorney regime, natural health and business communications. Recent speakers have covered Outlook and PowerPoint tips, Civil Defence readiness and procedures and Careers advice.

A fee of $5 for members and $10 for non-members is charged to cover meeting costs.  First time guests attend at no cost.

There are also opportunities to attend seminars, conferences, training, and twice a year we enjoy a dinner at mid-winter and Christmas.

Members receive a bi-monthly group newsletter which contains interesting articles and details of the next meeting.

Networking

Networking creates an opportunity for you to meet and mingle with other like-minded people. It is a good way to build an awareness of what is happening out in the market place and build relationships with other people working in the same chosen career.
