Association of Administrative Professionals NZ Inc
The Wellington Group Management Team (GMT) invites all Wellington Group members to review the five Award categories with the view to nominating someone (or even themselves) for an award.
In keeping with the Administrator of the Year Award conditions (and other AAPNZ submissions), the GMT will accept nominations and supporting documentation from managers and work colleagues in support of the awards. The judging panel will be completely unbiased. The Wellington Group Member of the Year Awards covers the period from 1 April to 31 March to tie in with the membership year, with nominations closing on 31 March 2020. While we have five award categories, some awards may not be handed out every year.
The Awards themselves are based on the values for AAPNZ as shown below.
The categories are:
The Most Useful Tip of the Year Award is awarded to individual(s), who gets the most “likes” to a tip that they have put forward as having saved them time and money.
The Innovation Award is awarded to individual(s) who have conceived and developed an initiative that supports AAPNZ i.e. this is not necessarily an initiative just for Wellington Group but could be something that could be used for AAPNZ nationally. The initiative must have been recognised / completed within the AAPNZ year i.e. 1 Apr 19 – 31 Mar 2020.
The Empowerment Award is awarded to an individual that has encouraged you in your journey as a professional administrator. This person has empowered and supported you to exceed in your role as a professional administrator and is willing to share their knowledge and skills.
The Commitment (Engagement) Award is awarded to a person or person(s) who is/are committed and engaged with the AAPNZ through working on competency certificates, professional designations etc. and ultimately pursuing a greater benefit by growing themselves.
The Member of the Year Award (Excellence Award) is awarded to an individual who has demonstrated the AAPNZ ethos and values through their performance. The individual has proven to be a high achiever and exhibits behaviours that are well respected.
The Nomination form is attached, along with a poster, to assist with promotion of the Award to other AAPNZ members within your work group. Please note that the Submit button at the bottom of the form will automatically send your completed form to the organisers.
