Administrative Professionals Day 2020

Administrative Professionals Day (AP Day or APD) is celebrated by all groups around the country. In the past, events have ranged from breakfasts to after work cocktail functions and dinners. More often than not these events will include a relevant guest speaker or presentation; the National President’s speech is also delivered. Groups will often giveaway prizes donated by national and local sponsors. Many groups use this special day to present their annual group awards. This year, we are celebrating APD under COVID-19 restrictions, but don't worry we are still celebrating!

AP Day is always celebrated on the Wednesday of International Administrative Professionals Week (usually the last week of April). In New Zealand, the day occasionally needs to be celebrated a week earlier to avoid the clash with the ANZAC Day public holiday.

Members and non-members are encouraged to attend our virtual APD celebration and invite managers and colleagues to join the fun too.
